THE FAMILY ADVENTURE - HOME SERVER (C++ version)
================================================

One computer in your house runs this program. Every phone, tablet and
computer on your Wi-Fi can then open the family calendar, and changes show
up on all of them right away. It also keeps the weather live and shows
Google, Outlook and iCloud calendars.

QUICK START - nothing to install on Windows
  Windows 10/11:  double-click  "Start Family Adventure (Windows).bat"
  Mac: double-click "Start Family Adventure (Mac).command"
                  (first time: right-click > Open; it builds itself once)
  Linux / Pi:     ./start.sh

A window shows an address like http://192.168.1.25:8080
Type that into the browser on your wall tablet and phones.
Leave the window open. Closing it stops the calendar.

Your family's data is saved in family-data.json next to the program.
Copy it somewhere safe now and then as a backup.

FREE TRIAL AND YOUR KEY
  The calendar is free to try for 30 days. After that, everyone can still
  see it, but making changes needs a license key ($39, one time - buy it at
  heirloomsoftwarellc.com or call or text (606) 521-7093). Tap "Enter Your
  Key" on any screen and paste the key from your email - once is enough for
  every phone and tablet. The key is kept in license.txt next to the program.
  Linux computers build the program the first time, like Macs and the Pi.

The full step-by-step guide is "The Family Adventure - Setup Guide.pdf".

FOR PROGRAMMERS
  source/server.cpp is the whole server (C++17). It uses two header-only
  libraries in source/third_party (cpp-httplib and nlohmann/json, both MIT
  licensed; licenses included) and calls the system "curl" program for
  HTTPS requests, so there is no OpenSSL to link.
    g++ -std=c++17 -O2 source/server.cpp -o family-adventure -pthread
  or use source/CMakeLists.txt. Options: --port 8080 (or PORT env var).
  app.html is the screen; it must sit next to the program.
